Elmar Willems

As Program Lead Circular Cities, I am working fervently for the benefit of circular local policies and action. I am part of Circular Flanders, the hub for the circular economy transition in Flanders, Belgium. As a senior policy-officer at the Public Flemish Waste Agency, the regional authority for waste and soil policies, I have been engaged with resource management, policy innovation and project development for a circular economy. My focus lies with cities and circular area development.
