Bio
I am a researcher at the National Research Council and develop materials based on high molecular weight keratin, extracted from wool waste from the textile and food industry, for use in the biomedical field for drug delivery and tissue regeneration devices, in the form of nanoparticles, nanofibers and porous scaffolds.
In 2017, I founded Kerline.srl, a CNR spin-off for industrial up-scaling of chemical-based keratin extraction process.
