Bio
Graduated in Biochemistry followed by a master degree in molecular biology, and microbiology obtained at the University of Algarve. My PhD thesis was in Biomedical Sciences. Meanwhile I work as a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in University of Algarve. In addition, I am involved in the Lab-It - Itinerant Laboratory project, promoting the development of molecular biology activities for students and teacher training in Algarve high schools.
