District of Hajnówka is the local government in Podlaskie Voivodship. It has implemented many projects. The department of Promotion and Development works in the Tourism and Promotion Centre " Kraina Żubra” located in the heart of the Bialowieza Forest, which has a year-round, tourist information, a conference room and a small art gallery. The Department organises various events, seminars, fairs of local products, hiking and cycling rallies and educational excursions.
