About the organisation
Seaside Open Air Museum is one of the largest museums in Northern Kurzeme with an important museum collection. The museum also takes care of the fire correction tower of the former 46th Coastal Defense Battery. There is also an exposition of the 20th century narrow-gauge railway on the territory of the museum. The museum has successfully implemented several projects. In 2024, the construction of the multi-purpose building and the installation of the exhibition were completed.
