About the organisation
We bring verified data on food waste to key stakeholders, propose concrete actions to drive responsible food management, motivate change and seek support for it. Our vision is that the Czech Republic will reduce food waste by half between 2020 and 2030. Zachran jidlo (Save the Food) was founded in 2013. Since then, we have done several awareness campaigns, are involved in research projects and are working towards systemic change.
