Demo project of three battery electric buses
About this good practice
Rogaland County Council has run a demo project with three
battery buses in nordic conditions, to learn how the buses can function within the public transportation system. The demo project is part of the EU Horizon 2020 project "Triangulum". Triangulum is the second project on battery busses for the Rogaland County Council. Two battery buses were introduced in 2015. Together these five buses were the first battery buses in
Norway.

3 battery electric buses. Increased knowledge on battery electric buses and how the public transport system in the region can adapt to the electric buses, and vice versa. We have gathered important information regarding the operation, maintenance and driver experience of these vehicles.
