Dual Study Programme – University Of Debrecen and Electronic Waste Recycling Ltd.
About this good practice
Dual training is a specialised, practice-oriented form of higher education training in cooperation between higher education and business, where students can learn about/ participate in work processes directly and can spend more time practising professional competences than in traditional training.
The dual nature of the training course is due to the fact that the practical training takes place outside the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen - half of the training period - at partner companies. The dual student spends the semester together with the "traditional" full-time student at the higher education institution (institutional phase). During the semester, the student spends two days a week at the partner company. During the period of study, the students have the status of student employees and receive a salary.
