About this good practice
Working together with the Regional Ministry of Education, Andalucía Emprende fosters the entrepreneurial culture within the PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM, boosting entrepreneurial skills and knowledge from preschool to university.
To promote entrepreneurial culture in educational centres, Andalucía Emprende collaborates in the implementation of the Regional Ministry of Education Program, called INNICIA, by developing various activities, which are detailed below:
WORKSHOPS IN SCHOOLS (about creativity, motivation, communication…)
- TALKS WITH YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS (transfer their experience as references)
- VISITS TO COMPANIES PREMISES AND BUSINESS CENTRES/INCUBATOR HUBS.
- TRAINING ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS AND ATTITUDES
And the ENTREPRENEURSHIP FAIR:
The Entrepreneurship Fairs are the culmination of the Innicia Program and an essential stimulus for all educational centers who are working on entrepreneurial projects.
At the end of the academic year, the Fair takes place where each educational centre presented the entrepreneurial projects of each group of students. On the same day, simultaneously, a fair is held in each of the 8 Andalusian provinces, so it becomes a regional program, thus increasing its global impact
2 main areas:
• Exhibition area where students show their projects
• Knowledge area where several motivational presentations with businessmen/businesswomen, coach, youtubers

Evidence of success
2019: More than 6.200 students and 348 centers and projects from all over Andalusia participating in these fairs and more than 81.000 students and 450 centers and projects participating in the program during this school year
Potential for learning or transfer
The entrepreneurship fair can be transferred and bring good opportunities to work on a yearly-basis with students to get familiar with entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, it is an opportunity to link entrepreneurs with school projects.
Entrepreneurship fair requires collaboration and good coordination between the organization in charge of the programme, participating schools and entities-sponsors. This management mainly relies on the organisation entity. It also requires follow-up on school projects beyond participation in the fair.
Value the figure of the entrepreneur as a key aspect. Improve the figure of the entrepreneur with projects.
• Check availability of teachers possibly outside their teaching hours.
• Open mind of teachers to participate in the program
• Necessary administrative competences at regional scope is desirable so that the action has real social repercussion on entrepreneurial culture and does not remain as a specific action in a specific municipality.
