DG Research launch call for greening the health sector via Pre-Commercial Procurement

The DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission is seeking procurers who want to make health and care systems environmentally sustainable, climate-neutral, and circular.

The latest Horizon Europe call for Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP) proposals has just opened and will run until 26 November 2024. 
 
They are notably looking for:

  • Consortia of healthcare procurers who want to green healthcare.
  • Proposals that address direct and indirect environmental footprint.
  • Proposals that aim at enhancing circularity, reducing waste, and optimizing resource use.
  • Policy makers seeking to promote public procurement as a driver of innovation and regional competitiveness
