Potential for learning or transfer
FGP itself is an excellent example of DMO, involving local stakeholders and having strong relations with private operators.
It is at the root of many initiatives which improved considerably the competitiveness of the destination and had a very positive impact on local SMEs. It creates favorable conditions for these businesses to grow by providing means of "collaboration business" leading to a better competitiveness of the destination.
It improves visitor reception capacity through training courses for local operators;
It increases local cultural offer through events, laboratories, .. involving local operators too;
it manages a network of sites and activities that improve local economy and communication activities to promote tourist destination.
FGP can be considered an experimental laboratory that could be a source of inspiration and give suggestions to partners thanks to its integrated approach to activities and services.
FGP assembled the puzzle of an integrated strategy.
