Food safety seminar
About this good practice
On the seminar, lecturers presented current changes and actual news in the field of food safety. Due to Corona virus situation, seminar was held online.
Lecturers were from different fields. They presented risk factors, such as drugs/antibiotics used in the breeding of domestic animals and the resulting resistance of bacteria to individual medicinal substances. Participants were acquainted with the situation regarding the potential radioactivity of foods in the domestic environment and the possibility of determining the degree of contamination. In addition to the importance of conducting various assessments by third parties, in the area of ensuring food safety, we also looked at the problems in the operations of food companies due to the consequences of the pandemic and learned about the procedures for effective action in crisis situations. We learned about the latest developments in the field of additives, flavorings and food enzymes, as well as the important conclusions of the Food Safety Agency (EFSA) in the field of certifying the safety of individual food components. The leap in mastering the HACCP system in digital form and the verification of key parameters in real time is very important aproach, which was also presented.

The resources required are human resources. Ideally you need three people: one person, who makes a programme, one, who is communicating with lecturers and participants and one person, who arranges sponsors and covers technical aspects of the event.
