This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
The new development separates the mixed municipal solid waste collected from the region, which transformed the waste management method. The aim of the program is to develop the waste management system in the associated municipalities, including the selective waste collection.
Necessity of the investment: a selective waste management would already be needed to carry out the industrial preparation for selective waste collection in the Vas county. The population does not have sufficient equipment for selective collection and home composting, so in the absence of these, the development of selective collection is not feasible despite the commitment of the population, therefore the development of the selective waste collection equipment is necessary.
With the development of selective waste collection, this technical need will be further enhanced, therefore, making the investment is inevitable.
Solution:
The goal is to implement the maintenance and operation of the solid waste selective waste management system.
Stakeholders and beneficiaries:
- 127 associated settlements (town and village) in Vas county
