INFRANET-CYBERPORT

This project was focused on raising awareness, on facilitating compliance with EU Directives, on enabling digital transformation and technology transfer between the Black Sea port community and several cluster members.One of the most vulnerable industries to cyber security attacks is the maritime sector. The editions of the Black Sea Maritime Cyber Security Conference underlined the challenges and problems typical to port operations in the port of Constanta. Lack of transparent inter-operations flows between Customs, Port Administration, Port Operators and Freight Forwarders results in insufficient communication and coordination; low traffic figures will always result in low port traffic figures– the major KPI of any port operation. INFRANET concept was developed inside INOMAR Cluster with participation of relevant digital transformation players, such as, UiPath, NTT Data, CertSign, SGS, Easy Do etc. Basically, the concept does process mapping, spots critical interactions, schedules digitalization and RPA and runs pilot implementation or Proof of Concept of the identified processes with participation of all the relevant stakeholders: Port Administration, Controlling Agencies, Private Operators and Public Authorities. This practice will impact the port activity overall by making all these processes more coherent, move cargo faster and increase port traffic; ultimately will impact the revenue collection and facilitate trade. The project is supported by the above stakehoders.
