About this good practice
As part of this call for projects, three projects were selected
In this specific case, it is the project of SARL Bons Enfants Traiteur is responsible for a central kitchen, which produces and stores meals for many establishments on the island. Its building, with a floor area of 1750 m², is recent (5 years) and
houses cold and hot spaces, production lines (ovens), a warehouse and offices
The Bons Enfants Traiteur SARL project meets the eligibility criteria of the regional intervention framework
with a self-consumption rate of 92% (> 70% minimum)
The expected decrease in grid electricity consumption is 280.9 MWh / year (self-consumed energy)
i.e. savings of € 30,376 / year and an annual gain (savings - expense) of € 20,310 / year
ADEME and the Reunion Region have supported the AAP laureates until their budgetary availability on this line is exhausted. The production / consumption coupling was managed as closely as possible by the project leader in order to achieve the highest self-consumption rate. The exemplarity was judged from the energy point of view of energy efficiency and sobriety. The proposed projects have integrated into their design a reflection on the use of photovoltaic production in relation to controlling the demand for electricity, the displacement of loads over time, the contribution to the peak demand reduction ( by acting mainly on withdrawal), system services provided to the network, facilitation of demand management.

Evidence of success
This practice is as good as it allows a reduction in electricity consumption to the network of 280.9 Mwh / year (energy consumed), i.e. a saving of € 30,376 / year and an annual gain (economy-load) of € 20,310 / year with the installation of an instrumentation intended to ensure the monitoring of the operation and the performance of the installations throughout the duration of the exploitation. It will necessarily cover the maintenance costs and ensure the validity of the measured data.
Potential for learning or transfer
This practice is potentially interesting and could easily be duplicated in other regions in order to support the energy management of companies in the industrial and tertiary sector. And to contribute to a virtuous and economically viable approach for companies.
