About this good practice
In line with its obligations as the promoter of Sustainable Mobility and the assumption of a ‘role model’ status on the subject of Electromobility, Transport Malta has issued an Operator’s licence for an E Car Sharing company, following the issuance of an RfQ.

Administrative support was required for the RfQ and Contractual process.
Evidence of success
A foreign company has seen the benefits in investing in this type of operation which will also address the issue of having an increase in the number of BEV’s on the Maltese roads.
Potential for learning or transfer
This is simply a good model for other partners to follow, when they are dealing with vehicles which have to go round cities within a 100km radius of range...each vehicle has a minimum of around 110 km of battery range with one charge.
