The foundation of the GP is built on publicly available data and statistics from sources like the Norwegian Statistics Bureau, Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration, and the Directorate of Education. The tables within the base are automated and regularly updated, the information is freely available for download to anyone. Is a vital tool for stakeholders across various sectors, enabling them to make informed decisions based on up-to-date and relevant data. Is a strategic tool designed to align the region's workforce with the evolving labor market, seeks to enhance workforce participation, address labor shortages, and optimize labor utilization. It examines the balance between labor supply and demand, recognizing that factors (specific skill requirements, wage negotiations, productivity expectations) create a unique labor market in Norway. The GP acknowledges the need for continuous skill development through formal and informal learning due to factors like technological development and demographic shifts.
