This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
With the construction and start-up of the Motorland speed circuit where the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix is held, a market niche related to motor tourism was opened in our territory, specifically it is a segment that seeks to discover new routes and landscapes, our product also combines an exceptional gastronomy and towns full of charm but little known and exploited at tourism level. The union of this need and the existence of a territory little exploited for tourism with low traffic roads allowed the creation of these routes that have been so well received from the beginning both by their users and by the inhabitants of our towns who have seen an increase in arrival of tourists.
The keys to the success of these routes are, on the one hand, their routes that cross changing landscapes and that allow stops in towns rich in heritage and gastronomy. They also have specific road signs that allow you to always follow the proposed routes but, fundamentally, the key to success is the SLOW approach, which has also been understood by motorcyclists and welcomed by the inhabitants of our quiet villages.
Proof of this are the hundreds of reports made by specialized motor magazines and brands that have chosen our routes to record spots or test their vehicles

Resources needed
The start-up of the routes has involved two types of expense fundamentally, on the one hand that of the signage of the roadside (24.000€) and on the other the preparation of promotional materials and marketing actions aimed at their dissemination (6.200), in total 30.200€.
Evidence of success
Hundreds of reports have been made by specialized magazines in the motor world and brands that have chosen our routes to record spots or test their vehicles. On the other hand, the arrival of tourists has increased by more than 30%.
Potential for learning or transfer
A little-known and exploited tourist area has become fashionable among motor enthusiasts, which has allowed the revitalization of local businesses and the creation of new establishments related to tourism.
Thanks to the universality of this sport and the resources available in this territory (and in many others) such as the hotel industry, gastronomy, local shops, leisure companies, they make this good practice, promoted by Local Administrations, a practice totally transferable to other territories.
The county of Bajo Aragón and the province of Teruel are at a confluence between several cities that allows a wide range of people to approach this area.
For all of this we understand that although this good practice has been designed for this specific territory, it may have similar results in other European territories (winding road network with beautiful landscapes, welcoming towns with local businesses, hotels and restaurants of the highest level.
