About this good practice
ASTERMAGONIA is the company in charge of the guided visits in the most important touristic centers in Medina del Campo, he Castle of La Mota and the Testamentary Palace of the Queen Isabel. After the pandemic, these places found it difficult to open visits to the public. Its staff members were temporally unemployed because of COVID19. However, its staff members decided to continue exploring new ideas and solutions against covid situation. So, ASTERMAGONIA explored digital initiatives to complement traditional visits and add new services related to visits to those buildings. From the traditional point of view, the basic means established has been the palace blog in which consultation articles with topics related to the time, culture and politics of the Catholic Monarchs have been incorporated, which, on a monthly basis, is linked to the different social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for a greater diffusion). Also, following the same line, the communication of different activities offered, key dates related to historical figures related to the managed centers, etc. have been uploaded to social networks.
This new space would be supported by four columns, each with a different theme and a different way of interacting:
