About this good practice
The program includes the implementation of 120 hours of Theoretical Training and 260 hours Practical Training and also an individualized approach - counseling for the promotion of beneficiaries into employment and businesses. Each training program is mandatory and includes 20% of the following topics:
o Health and safety at work
o Basic labor law authorities
o Preparing the trainee for the labor market, such as learning resume writing techniques, personal development strategy, career guidance, learning ways of finding a job, interview simulation with the employer, etc.
Additionally, each program may include up to 10% and the following topics:
o Team Building Skills
o Negotiation Skills
o Leadership Skills
o Creativity Skills
o Health and safety at work

Evidence of success
1)Over 1,000 (national level) unemployed people aged 18-24 years involved in project
2) 58 of them from the Western Macedonia Region.
3) Over 120 hours of Theoretical Training and 260 hours Practical Training (per person) and also an individualized approach - counseling for the promotion of beneficiaries into employment and businesses
4)Positive impact evaluation from SMEs trainers involved in the project

Potential for learning or transfer
Τhis practice is interesting for other regions because enhances the qualifications of the unemployed. The program tailored to develop individual features in regard to EU framework. In this way they will be prepared for the labor market, developing writing techniques, personal development strategy, career guidance. The counselor will learn ways of finding a job, interview simulation with the employer, creatiοn of a correct resume e.tc.
