The Centre for the Support of Natural Tourism and the Development of the Poloniny Destination, and Aevis destination n.g.o. as a professional guarantor and coordinator in cooperation with partners brings the destination brand Poloniny within the Snina region. Its mission is to support the sustainable development of the region and more responsible use of its exceptional potential. At the same time awards the quality brand Truly High-Quality Poloniny. Its mission is to support the sustainable development of the region and more responsible use of its exceptional potential. The brand is part of a marketing strategy aimed at improving the promotion of the territory, its natural and cultural wealth, offered services and regional products. The goal is to help raise the visibility of local producers and service providers through the brand, to support their activities and the sales of their quality products and services. The quality brand can be obtained for agricultural products and food products, traditional handicrafts, accommodation services, catering facilities and experience services. Local producers, manufacturers, service providers and operators who meet the certification criteria of the challenges can apply for the brand based on a published call.
The Poloniny brand presents various specifics that can be seen, experienced or tasted in the most north-eastern corner of Slovakia. It supports the preservation and maintenance of original nature, culture, traditions and crafts.

Activity under Aevis Foundation project "Implementation of nature tourism" funded by EU Next Generation EU within Slovak Republic's Recovery Plan, managed by destination manager at the Centre of Natural Tourism Support and Development of the Poloniny Destination.

The Poloniny brand system boosts sustainable tourism and local manufacturing potential in Snina district and adjacent areas. It's more accessible (less demanding) than other regional systems in Slovakia, aiming to utilize the area's potential fully. Visitors can identify unique, locally sourced products and services grown or produced by local people with love and respect for nature and traditions. Since July 2020, 24 applicants have been awarded based on certification criteria.
