Europe, let's cooperate - Interreg Europe launch event

Event

Clock 10 : 00 - 13 : 00 CET
Location In person | Bologna, Italy
By Joint secretariat
Two inspiring days of learning and networking with organisations from 30 European countries.

We are convinced that cooperation works. Over 2000 institutions from all over Europe improved their regional policies through cooperation in 204 different interregional projects under INTERREG IVC programme (2007-2013). The wealth of knowledge generated by the projects working on similar regional development issues is now presented for the benefit of all regions across Europe in a variety of publications tackling topics ranging from innovation to the environment.

Now, it is the right time to step forward. With the new programme, called Interreg Europe, there will be even more opportunities to benefit from interregional cooperation on research and innovation, competitiveness of SMEs, low-carbon economy, and the environment and resource efficiency. You can get co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund for working with other regions, learning from each other and solving common challenges. You can also join four thematic networks that will help local and regional governments become more effective when planning and implementing policies for the benefits of their citizens.

With the motto 'Europe, let's cooperate!' we invite you to an inspiring two-day event in Bologna. You will learn how you can benefit from interregional cooperation and get inspiration from the institutions and regions that already have the experience implementing projects. You will meet experts presenting the latest policy trends and enjoy networking. That's where cooperation starts. It's an opportunity to present your ideas, check the ideas of others and start building new partnerships. Interreg Europe staff will guide you to a successful project development.
