Responding to the call of the European Commission to consult on the future of the European territorial cooperation, the Interreg Europe programme prepared a concrete plan on how to involve relevant stakeholders in the process and successfully completed the first actions.

Survey results published

This spring, we launched an online survey. The main target group of the programme - local, regional or national authorities, and other institutions involved in regional development policies - were invited to contribute. 455 respondents from 39 countries answered the survey and shared their views on the future of interregional cooperation.

We have just published the summary report of the survey results. Just click the link to read it.

What comes next?

The survey report was presented to the Interreg Europe's monitoring committee in June 2024. The key topics will be discussed now in more detail in the monitoring committee later this October.

Later this year, we will prepare a final report on the Public consultation on the post-2027 and submit it to the European Commission.
