Cultural and Creative Industries I: Towards a green and digital Europe

On 31 January, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, the Policy Learning Platform is organising the first episode of its new webinar series on Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). It will focus on the transformation of Cultural and Creative Industries.

In this webinar, we will explore and discuss approaches on how to foster the transformation of the cultural and creative industries in the context of the twin – digital and green – transformation of the economy:

• Ecosystem-based approaches – CCIs and smart specialisation
• Role and positioning of creative hubs
• Digital transformation of the CCIs
• Interaction of the CCIs with other economic sectors

• Presentation by Josean Urdangarin from the Regional Government of the Basque Country, on the lessons learned in the CREADIS3 project 

• Presentation by Paolo Montemurro and Raffaele Vitulli from the Matera Hub, Basilicata Heritage Smart Lab on the lessons learned in the ECoC SME project

• Presentation by Ákos Szépvölgyi from the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency on the lessons learned in CRE:HUB project
