Policy Learning Platform in Helsinki: Smart Regions 2.0 Conference

The event will provide the opportunity to share experience between projects supported by the European Structural Investment Funds and other EU programmes and policies in the areas of research, industrial policy, education and skills. It will enable project promoters to learn from experience in other regions and find cooperation partners across EU in areas such as energy, agri-food, industrial modernisation, cybersecurity, health, and the maritime industry. Interreg Europe’s Policy Learning Platform will be there to introduce the features and services of the platforms as well as to host a matchmaking café on various topics for those looking for new partners and good practices.

Join a short presentation on the Policy Learning Platform expert services and learn how interregional cooperation can contribute to S3 implementation. Find out about policy trends and good practices on Industrial modernisation, Agri-food and energy coming from interregional projects and explore possibilities for new partnerships, thematic synergies and ideas for future projects. Thematic experts will be present to explain how you can benefit from joining a community of like-minded people and how to receive tailored made policy support for your work.

Matchmaking café is an interactive session organised by the Interreg Europe programme. In a specially designed networking area you will learn about existing solutions and good practices and be able to discuss with peers your policy challenges and share information and contacts. This could lead to the new collaborations and is very helpful for organisations that are looking for new partners or different ways of doing things.
