On 23 November 2023 the Policy Learning Platform is hosting a webinar on the topic of setting up regional funds with the European Investment Fund.
The InvestEU programme is one of the new European initiatives in the period 2021-2027. It supports sustainable investment, innovation and job creation in Europe. The InvestEU Fund represents the investment pillar of the programme.
Being still a relatively young mechanism, this webinar aims to provide regional authorities and funding organisms insights about the opportunities offered in terms of investment in innovation and growth at the national and regional levels.
Despite the InvestEU being a new programme, the implication of the EIB Group (European Investment Bank and European Investment Fund) in supporting regional land national investment funds is not new. Therefore this webinar will also showcase experiences from Interreg Europe projects of the past years, providing useful input from the ground.
