About the project
We have been working with accessible tourism for more than 10 years. We map accessible services and destinations in Hungary, create databases, help and inform both users and service providers.
We would like people with disabilities to be able to spend their free time actively, and to be safe and free to go on vacations and trips.
We would like to expand our work so that we can harmonize our free-to-use database and our methodology with partners from other countries in Europa, who are already doing similar work. Our goal is to enable the target group to travel freely and carefree within Europe on the one hand by creating an international database of accessible tourist services and on the other hand by training municipal officials, tourist information point employees and volunteers of local organisations of people with disabilities.
