ACTIvation of participatory tOols for the maNagement of RIVER baSins

The aim of the project is to improve the regional policies and strategies targeted to fluvial areas and to promote the adoption of participatory governance tools, such as river contracts, to ensure the sustainability of the conservation measures applied to fluvial areas and to ensure exchange good practices in similar contexts both in the national territory and in the territories of other EU countries. The project want to establish a close collaboration among partners to transfer the innovative methodologies applied and developed in similar contexts, both in Italy and in other EU Member States, thus creating a participatory model for the recovery and management of natural resources that can be adopted by European administrations and bodies.This phase will be reinforced by study visits to learn about best practices in each country/region. The Joint Action Plan will become a political commitment of the partners of the Interreg ActiON-RiverS project through the signing of an Agreement.
