About the project
In emergency first aid management, early disease recognition and diagnosis can optimize treatment and increase the probability of patient recovery. In emergency departments, often large number of critical patients need first aid at the same time, generating criticisms in the success rate of treatments, especially in case of insufficient manpower. To improve the speed and quality of medical intervention, it is necessary to reduce the pressure on the medical staff of the emergency departments, which can lead to misdiagnosis and/or missed diagnosis, possibly resulting in aggravation of patients. This project is aimed at exploring the possibilities of application of artificial intelligence methods to construct an emergency information system, to improve significantly the whole rescue process. In particular, facial and vocal analyses will be used as inputs of the artificial intelligence system for early disease recognition.
