Boosting social economy as a mean for local development

Since the social economy is rooted in civil society and has a strong social commitment, these enterprises and organisations offer innovative solutions to the main economic, social and environmental challenges of our time. Thus the common regional development issue addressed by our project proposal is the development of local policies instruments of support and incentives for the development of the Social Economy, with the aim, on the one hand of combating local unemployment, and of integrating into the labour market in terms of dignity groups of local populations at risk of exclusion. young people, unemployed, women, immigrants, residents of island and remote areas, people with disabilities, etc.) The main objective of the project/proposal is to increase the visibility of social economy and its participation in the local GPD, as well as to increase turnover and employment, and the number of social enterprises in the regions participated.
