About the project
Coastal areas in Europe are experiencing continuous erosion and other adverse weather events that have increased in frequency and severity over the last decades due to climate change. The costs of coastal restoration have increased over time for local and regional governments.
Project Vesta is advancing a nature-based approach to permanently capturing excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while increasing coastal resilience, all through the implementation of our solution in coastal restoration projects. Our climate solution lowers coastal restoration project costs and provides detailed monitoring of the coastal area - including water, sediment and coastal morphology - for the local and regional governments. We are looking for regional or local governmental agencies with ongoing, approved, or pre-approved coastal restoration projects where we can apply our methodology and learn how to scale our approach in other coastal communities.
