About the project
In support of implementing the EU Cybersecurity Strategy, ISAC for Cities Plus (I4C+) will create a trans-European community for exchanging cybersecurity experience to build the capacity for a trans-European decentralized cyber security operations centre (DCSOC) for public administrations. To support this I4C+ will launch several pilots integrating public administrations into such using a novel cybersecurity enforcement mesh-protocol. The aim is to demonstrate that public administrations across the EU can “work as one” on an operational level across multiple EU nations to strengthen local, regional and (inter-) national cybersecurity. Parallel with this activity I4C+ will provide input to the development of the NIS2 directive policy instrument and foster a more efficient uptake of cybersecurity related policies and data. A combination of these two actions will result in improved protection from and greater resilience to cyber threats to public administrations across Europe.
