About the project
One of the main focus of the EU Raw Materials Strategy and Next Generation Funds is to increase access to primary raw materials.
The needs of small-scale operations is going through to enable a transformative change in EU extractive industries ensuring EU raw materials autonomy, while protecting and restoring biodiversity, boost their resilience, fight climate change and recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Actions should contribute to digitalize the extractive industries operations to acknowledge existing opportunities and possibilities for exploiting them to achieve tangible results, as well as to increase their competitiveness, which will result in a driven force project improving overall major investment, economic activity, knowledge generation and job creation, contributing to reduce the EU´s dependence of raw materials from external and unreliable markets and contributing to a social and territorial cohesion of the Regions.
Partners we are looking for
We are looking for public managing authorities with competences in the areas of digitization, industry and/or mining, universities, I4.0 Centres of competence and business development intermediaries.
