Background

The European Union Youth Strategy 2019-2027 aims to find new ways to engage, connect and empower young people to the communities’ lives. Member States are encouraged to develop schemes and implement new instruments in order to achieve the 11 European Youth Goals.

Through collaborative efforts and partnerships, the EU seeks to create an enabling environment where young people feel empowered to contribute meaningfully to societal progress and development. This entails breaking down barriers to participation, amplifying youth voices in decision-making processes, and nurturing a culture of active citizenship and social responsibility.

Overall goal and sub-objectives

Through this project the municipality aims to improve its administrative capacity in outlining and implementing strategies connected to reality, by completing/aligning the long-term objectives of the city with the interests of the young people of the community.
