About the project
Hope for Kids: a psychological stabilization and rehabilitation program aimed at helping children who have been traumatized during the war, experienced violence and abuse, were deprived of parental care, became orphans and suffered post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Program tasks:
- restoration of disturbed (lost) mental functions to the optimal level of their expression
- restoration of adaptive mechanisms to extreme actions
- mastering methods of self-regulation and stress management
- prevention of further occurrence of psychological trauma and mental disorders;
- formation of positive reactions, motivations, social attitudes towards life.
Program description: the program lasts 21 days and its uniqueness lies in the use of evidence-based methods of diagnosis and psychotherapeutic assistance, providing an individual approach to each child, creating favorable conditions for the formation of important healing skills and preventing the development of post-traumatic stress disorder.
