About the project
Project INNO emerges as a beacon of change, aiming to accelerate the transition towards Circular Economy innovative practices in national and regional decision-making processes.
At its core, INNO seeks to amplify the adoption of Innovation Procurement (IP), as a strategic approach to sourcing goods, services, and systems that are not yet available on a large-scale commercial basis but that offer significant advantages over existing solutions in terms of their reduced environmental impact, improved social outcomes, and better use of resources. The project consortium will addresses key barriers hindering the widespread implementation of IP.
Key objectives of the project include:
Identifying pilot initiatives and key stakeholders poised to drive IP implementation
Identifying legal and procedural challenges to streamline the adoption of Innovative Procurement practices
