About the project
There are peripheral territories in the EU countries and Ukraine, which have potable water sources. Some of them have medicinal properties. However, a significant part of the sources has not been investigated. The approach to the sources is unorganized. This applies, for example, to the territory of Kholodny Yar (Cold Ravine area), Ukraine, and the communities situated along the Tyasmyn river. There are about 65 water sources there.
Project goal: Generalise the experience of the leading EU countries for research and arrangement of drinking water sources in communities.
The prospective project will stipulate the acquisition of mobile equipment for the study of drinking water sources in communities; training seminars by EU specialists for representatives of the authorities, managers of the hotels and restaurants, etc. on the use of water sources, and conducting international applied research conference. Sources that have medicinal properties will be arranged for proper use.
Partners we are looking for
NGOs, local authorities and other organisation that have experience in organising access to water sources, including those with medicinal properties.
