LifeLong Learning in Rural areas: boosting employment and capacities

In EU rural areas population is much older than in urban areas, a problem that adds to the lack of infrastructure, services and employment opportunities and professional development, making them unattractive places to live and work. To this end, both "Rural Pact" and "Rural Action Plan" aim to tackle theese socieconomic challenges. The project aims to continue working on both actions and plants at EU and regional level by bringing together capacities to facilitate access to rural studies, capacity builiding in rural employers and citices and labour market insertion activities and boost entrepreneurship. The project proposes to : • Promote quality results in capacity building on rural sustainable development • Innovation in rural sustainable • Design, coordination and implementation of policies of rural development • Training of students and researchers and the transfer of knowledge.
