About the project
The project aims to promote a governance model for strengthening, at the local level, the capacity of the training system to address the need for skills qualification and innovation in the blue economy and particularly maritime and shipbuilding sector, a field that is constantly evolving and requires rapid response times. The project fosters and supports strong cooperation and synergic participation among key local actors (public institutions, enterprises, training and placement agencies). Participants will be actively involved in consultation tables, interregional workshops, laboratories and in mutual study visits with the purpose of enabling capacity building and expand knowledge, which will be contextualized by each partner through ongoing discussions with their local stakeholders.
After the intensive learning process, the partners will engage to develop in each territory a pilot action focused on the definition of a Local Training Pact in the blue economy sector.

Partners we are looking for
We are looking for partners that directly manage the thematic policy instrument, then who can intervene on sectorial policies through plans on local development, local training or blue economy, for example.
We would prefer the partner to be in charge of the ESF or similar policy instrument.
