Promotion of SMEs' Internationalization through Networking and Research Collaboration

Although collaboration is essential for SMEs to compete in international markets, there are significant challenges and difficulties in successfully collaborating in business networks. It is also not easy to integrate other actors, such as research centers, which could provide added value to the networks. Building on these challenges, the project idea is to identify best practices to support SMEs in creating effective and efficient collaboration networks, defining policies and related operational tools (incentives, training, etc.) that can help implement and improve collaboration, particularly in internationalization activities.
