Reduction of agriculture residue burning through bio-circularity principles

The use of fire for the elimination of agricultural residues is one of the oldest practices in agriculture. Nevertheless, this practice negatively impacts not only the quality of the air, but also the soil fertility and productivity and it is one of the main reasons for the ignition of forest fires.

Although several policies have been prepared by countries to control these practices, this project is aimed at creating alternatives to residue burning, though the good practices exchanging and ecosystem building in this field.
