About the project
STARTES aims to improve regional strategies towards better startup ecosystem functioning across Europe. It strives to address the problem: there is no specific reference framework for regional-level one-stop shops in Europe (digitalised as well), only best practices not yet widely scaled. That is the gap STARTES will approach to fill. Following the START EASY interregional learning, inspired by Catalonian Government (Spain) and County of Möre and Romsdal (Norway), we believe there is more actions to do to improve a comprehensive startup environment through one-stop shop solutions. (A)ctivities we initially consider are therefore:
A1. Identify key actors in each regional startup ecosystem across Europe and design their standardised ecosystem profiles.
A2. Map different models of European one-stop shops by type and development level.
A3. Create assessment tool to identify differences betweeen models and create action plans for transfering them from owners to recepients of the models.
