About the project
The project address the critical need for improved sustainability reporting among SMEs within the European social economy. This initiative stems in the face of growing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns, there's a pressing demand for more transparent, reliable, and comparable sustainability information. This need is particularly acute given the recent legislative developments, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which mandates regular reporting on the impact of company activities on people and the environment.
The primary objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and social inclusiveness of the European social economy sector by facilitating the effective and widespread implementation of ESG Reporting. It will facilitate the exchange of CSRD implementation practices and knowledge across Europe, developing policies to encourage ESG adoption that meets new reporting standards.
