About the project
The proposed project aims to improve the policy instruments, related to increasing the number of women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) & Digital related careers. Particularly, the project focuses at the university and labour market level, as there are less measures and solutions in place for encouraging women and facilitating their entrance into this particular sectors that are predominantly male dominated and where gender bias prevails.
These sectors are seen by European community as necessary inputs for economic and social development in the context of modern knowledge society. The policy improvements, through this project, will in the long-term contribute also to job growth, as more women enter the market.
