1st WEEEWaste Stakeholders’ meeting, Gdansk, June 28th 2023

On June 28th 2023 the first Gdansk Stakeholder meeting regarding the WEEEWaste project was held. The meeting was attended by 24 representatives of various companies, institutions and organizations dealing with waste management, including e-waste. Among others there were representatives of NGOs (Environmental Protection Foundation, ARMAG etc.), operators providing waste collection service (Gdańskie Usług Komunalne, KOMA, Pro Zero), the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk Road and Greenery Management Authority, thermal processing plant, Communal Management Department of the City Hall, but above all private companies dealing with electro-waste (ElektroEko, Recover Environment Foundation, REMONDIS, PESTAR Recycling Plant). The meeting allowed the presentation of the WEEEWaste project, its assumptions, objectives and goals. The most important, however, was the meeting of all interested actors and the establishment of contacts and cooperation with companies dealing with electro-waste.
