3rd Regional Stakeholder Meeting at Centro Region, Portugal

On 25 July, the 3rd Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting at Centro Region, Portugal, will take place, organised by University of Aveiro and Municipality of Fundão.

University of Aveiro, SPOTLOG Lead Partner, will start the day with a brief overview of the last-mile delivery landscape and defining challenges.

A group discussion will follow on Identification of key challenges in urban and peripheral areas, focusing on:

•    Infrastructure limitations
•    Delivery costs and profitability
•    Customer expectations and demands
•    Regulatory and policy frameworks

A Panel discussion will then follow on the role of government and policymakers, focusing on:
•    Incentives and regulations for sustainable delivery
•    Infrastructure investments and planning
•    Public-private partnerships
