3rd stakeholder seminar of BIRDA, Romania

The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency carried out the 3rd stakeholder group meeting within the WEEEWaste project on March 27th 2024. 

The event was a success and featured engaging discussions. The seminar began with a brief analysis of the progress and challenges encountered during one year of project implementation. Ms. Alexandra Ghenea from the PRODEEE Coalition exposed a presentation regarding the Government Ordinance no. 5/2015 and the legislative amendments that will be voted next week, related to WEEE. Additionally, Ms. Mădălina Dinu from the CNREE Association presented a best practice implemented by them, WeArEco - a WEEE collection application for citizens on Bucharest Ilfov region.

The seminar ended with a session of conclusions, encouraging participants to stay connected for future
initiatives and events in the field of WEEE management that will take place throughout the project's
implementation.
