Hericoast-Meeting with regional museums

The meeting (9 participants) started with a presentation of Hericoast and the work of the county councils of Vest- and Aust-Agder on improving governance of historic outports of Agder. The presentation was followed by short introduction to the history of historic outports by Vest-Agder county council. Afterwards the four heritage museums (Vest-Agder museum, Lindesnes Lighthouse museum, Lillesand town museum, Agder museum for natural history) each presented their current activities with a focus on dissemination of maritime history.
Finally the potential for a more dissemination and exhibition related to history of outports was discussed. It was obvious that this was a theme in need of a more coherent dissemination across institutions.
