Meeting with the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana

On Tuesday, March 19th 2024, ORZ organized a meeting with representatives of the faculty of Social Sciences of the university of Ljubljana to present the WEEEWaste project and its aims. The sustainable dimension of the project was also emphasized.  Later in the meeting, a used methodology for measuring social impacts was presented, which includes quantitative and qualitative analyses of the project's impact on society. Particular attention was paid to indicators such as the reduction of e-waste, the increase in the share of recycled material and public awareness of the problem of e-waste.

The presentation was followed by questions and a discussion with representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Experts from the faculty praised the project's comprehensive approach to the problem of e-waste and expressed support for the goals of the project.
