Pas-de-Calais County Council, lead partner of the PASSAGE project, organises a launch conference of the project on 12 May 2016 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
PASSAGE project aims at supporting low-carbon initiatives within five European maritime border regions. The project focuses on the development of integrated cross-border initiatives in straits. Straits are important PASSAGE points, which concentrate flows and activities that result in a significant carbon pressure.
At the event, the project partners will present the main issues the PASSAGE project will tackle in the coming four years. Specialist speakers such as the French journalist Jean-Christophe Victor (Le Dessous des Cartes) will take part in the conference.
The morning part will end with a press conference open to all journalists. In the afternoon, the conference will continue with a field visit around low-carbon fishing boats in Boulogne-sur-Mer. For more information, see the draft agenda.
You can register before 2 May by sending an email to the organiser.
